Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of remarks on her social media account on December 8, 2025. The tweets offered brief commentary on geopolitical and possibly domestic issues.

In one post, Rogers stated, “Remember, China plays the long game.” (December 8, 2025). Shortly after, she commented in another tweet: “Oof. Smack-down. “ (December 8, 2025). Later that evening, Rogers wrote: “Surprised? Not surprised.” (December 8, 2025).

Rogers began serving as state senator for Arizona’s 7th district following her election in 2023. She succeeded Theresa Hatathlie in this role.
