Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, announced on February 23, 2026, that her proposed legislation SCR 1010 passed the Arizona Senate. The resolution would allow voters to add an impeachable offense for governors and judges who fail to follow state law or court rule.

Rogers wrote in a post dated February 23, 2026: “My SCR 1010 passed the Arizona Senate: VOTERS would add an IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE for governor and judges if they fail to follow state law or court rule!”

Later that day, Rogers posted another message stating simply: “Unbelievable.” (February 23, 2026).

In a subsequent post on February 23, 2026, Rogers addressed immigration enforcement measures in Arizona. She stated: “If you’re an arrested illegal… you get turned over to ICE! Arizona Senate passed my SB1055 on this. Democrats absolutely melted down. It’s LAWFUL!”

Rogers replaced former state senator Theresa Hatathlie when she was elected in 2023.
