Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers announced the passage of several bills she sponsored, highlighting legislative priorities including public benefits for asylum applicants, photo radar cameras, and firearm purchase privacy.

On March 10, 2026, Rogers posted on her social media account: “Major victory. My SB1152 has passed both chambers and will stop public benefits for pending asylum applicants. Citizens come first.”

Shortly after, she shared another update: “The Arizona Senate just passed my bill giving voters the power to decide whether they want photo radar cameras or not.” This message was also posted on March 10, 2026.

In a third post made minutes later on the same day, Rogers wrote: “Strong win for the Second Amendment. My SB1058 protecting Arizonans firearm purchase privacy has passed the Senate.”

Wendy Rogers is a Republican who was elected to represent Arizona’s 7th Senate District in 2023, succeeding Theresa Hatathlie.
