Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers, representing the 7th Senate District, shared updates on infrastructure and transportation initiatives in a series of posts on January 27, 2026.
In her first post, Rogers announced progress on a highway repair study: “SR 64 highway to the Grand Canyon repair-study passed committee. Thank you mayors and fire chiefs of Williams and Tusayan AZ for journeying 4 hours down to the Capitol to testify!” (January 27, 2026).
Shortly after, she highlighted a new development related to state vehicle registration: “Finally – our Grand Canyon state will have a Grand Canyon license plate!” (January 27, 2026).
In another post that same evening, Rogers expressed gratitude toward tribal leaders supporting road improvements: “Thank you Chairman Rambler, Chief Sneezy, AG Ritchie of our San Carlos Apache tribe for testifying in support of sorely needed repairs and reconstruction of US 70 near Globe AZ.” (January 27, 2026).
Wendy Rogers was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State Senate in 2023. She represents the state’s 7th Senate District after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie.
