Senator Wendy Rogers, a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and Republican representing Arizona’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of messages on February 10, 2026, addressing military voting rights, youth political engagement, and veteran support initiatives.
In a statement shared with Center Square and posted to her social media account on February 10, Rogers emphasized the importance of protecting voting rights for military personnel serving away from home. She stated, “It’s vital our right to vote as military serving away from home is protected, even as laws change. Voters must be reassured by the system and thus confident in its outcome.”
Later that morning, Rogers expressed her support for youth civic education by highlighting the participation of local students in political training. She wrote on February 10: “Proud of the Boone family from Flagstaff here for the week of teen political training for homeschooled students. First-rate smart kids!”
In another post that day, Rogers thanked veterans who have supported legislative efforts aimed at improving disability compensation options. On February 10 she said: “Thanks to these military veterans and others who support SB 1803 providing needed additional protected options for veterans seeking help with their disability compensation.”
Wendy Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after replacing previous state senator Theresa Hatathlie. She represents Arizona’s 7th Senate District.
