Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing local military enlistment, aviation policy, and legislative initiatives.
On March 25, 2026, Rogers highlighted a personal encounter with a technician who had recently joined the Army National Guard: “Our A/C tech who fixed our swamp cooler today just enlisted in the Army National Guard and he’s been in the workforce for some years. #TrumpEffect #AmericaFirst”.
Later that day, she commented on pending legislation related to aviation equipment and municipal airport fees: “Standby for @MatthewGress’s HB2210. Federally mandated onboard ADS-B collision-avoidance equipment was NEVER meant to enable collection of landing fees by fiscally irresponsible city airports. @CITYOFMESA very WRONG on this. It won’t last. @flywithaopa” (March 25, 2026).
On March 26, 2026, Rogers addressed criticism from political opponents and referenced specific bills she has sponsored: “When Dems can’t win the argument, they impugn my character. What else is new? My bills speak to the times… SB 1051 requiring hospitals to ask and report the immigration status of patients, though they could not be denied care regardless of the answer SB 1152 suspending”.
Rogers succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as state senator for Arizona’s 7th district after being elected in 2023.
