Wendy Rogers, Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District since 2023, posted a series of messages on her Twitter account between January 26 and January 27, 2026. The tweets addressed topics ranging from Alzheimer’s disease advocacy to education technology and immigration enforcement.
On January 26, Rogers expressed gratitude towards organizations supporting Alzheimer’s patients in Arizona. She wrote, “Thank you @alzdsw @alzassociation for your unceasing dedication to helping Arizonans deal with Alzheimer’s disease.”
Later that day, she commented on technological advancements in educational spending accountability. In her tweet, Rogers stated, “So proud of our ESA team rolling out technology for ESA families to document their expenditures, which will insure appropriate needs are met!”
On January 27, Rogers discussed state law regarding the handling of undocumented immigrants by local authorities. She tweeted, “If an illegal alien is arrested, local authorities must turn him/her over to ICE. My SB 1055 is an extension of state law. It restores the rule of law. Here is my explanation notwithstanding the rude, loud, and disruptive audience.”
Rogers was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie as senator for the state’s 7th district.
