There were 27,428 Hispanic or Latino students enrolled in Pinal County schools in the 2025-26 school year, a decrease from the 27,441 Hispanic or Latino students in the previous school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Pinal County enrolled 54,910 students at the time. Among them, Hispanic or Latino students made up 50% of the student body making them the most represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the 115 schools in Pinal County, Vista Grande High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic or Latino students in the 2025-26 school year, with 1,207 students making up 67.2% of the school’s total enrollment.

Arizona ranks dead last in educational success among U.S. states, according to World Population Review, which graded states based on K–12 performance, funding, higher education, and safety.
