Teresa Martinez, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 16th House District, has recently posted a series of tweets addressing both national remembrance and her views on contemporary social issues.

On September 11, 2025, Martinez published two posts. In one, she wrote: “Shameful!!!! She is just disgusting!” (September 11, 2025). Later that day, she reflected on a national tragedy and extended her support to conservative activist Charlie Kirk and his organization: “Today we remember and honor those who are no longer are with us. GOD Bless Charlie Kirk, his family and our friends over @TPUSA and GOD Bless the USA.” (September 11, 2025).

In another tweet dated September 13, 2025, Martinez commented on an incident involving an arrest by stating: “She gets arrested in the end. My son said this is now moving from a ‘Cancel Culture’ to now a ‘Consequence Culture’.” (September 13, 2025).

Martinez succeeded John Fillmore as representative for Arizona’s 16th House District following her election in 2023.
