Teresa Martinez, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 16th District since 2023, posted a series of tweets on November 19 and 20, 2025, addressing legislative actions and local events.

On November 19, Martinez commented on a recent legislative development involving state taxes. She wrote: “We passed a bill to remove food tax for the people of AZ and @GovernorHobbs vetoed it. It would surely help some folks right now.”

Later that day, Martinez criticized Senator Mark Kelly in another tweet, stating: “Which orders are illegal?!?!!!!! @CaptMarkKelly this is TREASONOUS!!! SHAME ON YOU! We need to replace him!” The context of this statement appears to be related to actions or decisions by Senator Kelly that Martinez considers unlawful.

On November 20, she noted unusual weather in Goodyear, Arizona with the brief message: “Snow in Goodyear!!!”

Martinez has served in the Arizona State House since her election in 2023, succeeding John Fillmore as representative for the state’s 16th House District.
