T.J. Shope, Arizona State Senator for the 16th District and a member of the Republican Party, has recently shared updates on social media ranging from personal sports reflections to campaign activities.

On February 6, 2026, Shope posted about football player Larry Fitzgerald’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame: “I’m just glad I had a great seat to witness so many of @LarryFitzgerald’s great moments in San @AZCardinals uniform. Congrats Larry on making the @ProFootballHOF!!!”

Three days later, on February 8, 2026, Shope addressed his constituents regarding his candidacy for re-election: “PLEASE SHARE and please take a minute to sign my online ballot petition: https://t.co/nAD5E8jC5e

Shope was elected in 2023 as state senator for Arizona’s 16th District, succeeding Kelly Townsend. He is affiliated with the Republican Party.
