T.J. Shope, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the 16th Senate District, shared a series of posts on his social media account reflecting on recent community events and commemorations.
On December 6, 2025, Shope posted about attending a charity event with his wife: “Melissa and I had a great time at last night’s Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children Gala! Shope began serving as state senator after replacing Kelly Townsend. He represents constituents in Arizona’s 16th Senate District.
