T.J. Shope, Arizona State Senator representing the 16th Senate District since 2023, recently shared several updates on his social media account reflecting both personal milestones and recognition of colleagues.

On September 18, 2025, Shope posted about attending a significant event in Wyoming: “In Wyoming celebrating 25 years of the @CSGWEST Western LeadershipAcademy! Honored to be a part of the Class of 2013. My Arizona classmates at the time were @kelliwardaz and Victoria Steele. Great memories!”

Later that same day, he expressed admiration for a fellow public figure: “My friend @JuanCiscomani living the American Dream and representing the very best in us!”

On September 19, 2025, Shope acknowledged local recognition related to his hometown’s centennial: “Wow! I’m truly honored to be on this list of 12 Notable People from Coolidge, in honor of my hometown’s Centennial Celebration!”

Shope was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after serving in other public roles. He succeeded Kelly Townsend as senator for District 16.
