T.J. Shope, a Republican and Arizona State Senator representing the 16th Senate District since 2023, recently shared updates on his professional engagements and local activities through a series of tweets.

On May 17, Shope posted about attending a business event with fellow representatives: “Had a great time with Reps. @TMartinez4AZ & @LopezForArizona yesterday at the @CGAZChamber Biz Outlook Luncheon!”.

Later that day, he commented on participating in Arizona Restaurant Week: “We always try to catch at least a couple meals of AZ Restaurant Week and had intended to be at The Italiano tonight but their power went out and we’re gracious to get us a seat at Chef Joey’s other concept, The Mexicano. Super fun vibe and great food!!! We’ve had a great time!”.

On May 19, Shope expressed gratitude for being acknowledged by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce: “Truly honored to receive this recognition from the @AZChamber!”.

Shope has served as state senator since replacing Kelly Townsend in 2023. He represents the state’s 16th Senate District.
