T.J. Shope, a Republican who has represented Arizona’s 16th Senate District since his election to the State Senate in 2023, recently shared several updates on social media highlighting his activities and tributes.
On March 19, 2026, Shope posted: “Honored to share the stage with these Arizonans doing amazing things!”
The following day, on March 20, 2026, he wrote: “Had a great time at the State Senate today with @CherylToddGFR and the Arizona Women for Gun Rights!”
Later that same day, Shope posted a tribute: “The man, the myth, the legend!!! #RIPChuckNorris”
Shope began serving in the Arizona State Senate after being elected in 2023 to represent District 16. He succeeded Kelly Townsend in this role.
