T.J. Shope, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing District 16, shared updates on his recent activities and personal moments through a series of tweets posted on September 21, 2025.

In his first tweet from the evening of September 20, Shope described attending a community event: “Had a great time this evening with Reps @TMartinez4AZ & Chris Lopez at the celebration of the @CityCoolidge Centennial Celebration! Thank you Mayor Thompson for having us participate! As an added bonus, we also celebrated my Nana’s 91st Birthday from the stage! #Centennial https://t.co/IDwt8NyQCx” (September 21, 2025).

Later that night, Shope commented on sports broadcasting: “You just can’t beat the radio call, especially when it’s @TimHealeyASU!!! https://t.co/VsYCCL5hYO” (September 21, 2025).

The following day, he remarked on events at State Farm Stadium: “Truly amazing sights coming out of State Farm Stadium today! We’re watching at home like millions of others but am glad @votewarren and thousands of others are in the building to pay respects to the great @charliekirk11! #RestInPeace https://t.co/7xFz8JTJf3” (September 21, 2025).

Shope succeeded Kelly Townsend as state senator for Arizona’s 16th Senate District after being elected in 2023.
