Chef Elliott Moss opens new restaurant in Florence

Seminar Brewing has announced the opening of Elliott’s Restaurant, led by acclaimed chef Elliott Moss and his wife, Jennifer. The restaurant will open its doors on March 11, 2025, with a private event from 11 AM to 4 PM before welcoming the public at 4 PM.

Elliott Moss is known for his culinary expertise and has been nominated twice for the James Beard Award. His first nomination was as the chef of The Admiral, a fine dining restaurant recognized for its innovative dishes. He received his second nomination for his work at Buxton Hall Barbecue, which gained national recognition and was ranked ninth on Bon Appetit's Top 10 Best New Restaurants in America in 2016. That same year, Bon Appetit praised Moss's fried chicken sandwich as the "Best Fried Chicken Sandwich We Ate."
