The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce has announced that South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will be the guest speaker at the 2025 Business Outlook Luncheon. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, at the Florence Center.
Wilson's tenure as Attorney General has been marked by efforts to combat human trafficking. In 2019, a report highlighted South Carolina as leading in improving its human trafficking laws, with continued progress noted in last year's report.
During the luncheon, the Chamber will announce the Small Business Person of the Year, sponsored by Dedicated Community Bank, and the Public Servant of the Year, sponsored by Francis Marion University. Additionally, recognition will be given to the Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year.
The annual luncheon is set to open its doors at 11:30 am, with the program commencing at noon.
