Drivers in the Phoenix area should prepare for several freeway restrictions this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). The travel advisory covers March 14 through March 17, 2025.
Eastbound US 60, also known as the Superstition Freeway, will be closed between Country Club and Mesa drives from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. In addition, westbound US 60 will be narrowed to four lanes between Mesa and Country Club drives during the same hours.
Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard will be closed under Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Eastbound Loop 101 will be reduced to two lanes between Cave Creek Road and SR 51 from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday.
Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) will see lane reductions as well, with only two lanes open between Val Vista Drive and Lindsay Road from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday. Additionally, the westbound on-ramp at Val Vista Drive is set to close for approximately two months starting at 10 p.m. Friday.
Lastly, the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at 32nd Street will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 10 p.m. Saturday.
