Eli Crane, a U.S. Congress representative for Arizona’s 2nd District, shared a series of tweets expressing his concerns and activities. Crane has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Tom O'Halleran.
On January 22, 2025, Crane addressed the issue of foreign adversaries infiltrating critical U.S. infrastructure. He stated: "Foreign adversaries infiltrated our healthcare system, power grid, federal agencies, and other critical infrastructure. Despite these breaches, no one is ever held accountable. Washington D.C. is the only place where failure leads to promotion, and it's absolutely disgusting."
Later that day, Crane tweeted about his meeting with Tonto Apache Chairman Calvin Johnson and students from his district: "Great getting to catch up with Tonto Apache Chairman Calvin Johnson. He was joined by a few students from the district, and we were able to break away and take them to the House floor this afternoon."
On January 23, 2025, Crane announced upcoming legislative action involving President Trump: "President Trump will sign the bill into law. How's that for an incredible vibe shift? We are back, and we are just getting started."
