Congratulations to Pinal County Treasurer Michael McCord and his staff in the Treasurer's Office, who won two awards this week at the Arizona Association of Counties 2022 Conference.
The team was awarded the Summit Award for Information Technology and the Innovation of the Year Award, both in recognition of deploying Contactless Payment Terminals with support for mobile payment to all Treasurer’s window locations and the highest volume County departments.
Fiscal year 2020 saw 80,000 card transactions, while that number increased to 85,000 in 2021.
