SPC Credit Union launches workshop series for first-time homebuyers

SPC Credit Union has announced the launch of a new program aimed at first-time homebuyers. The initiative is an eight-month workshop series intended to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills for purchasing their first home. Sessions will be led by SPC Credit Union’s local lending team and are scheduled for the second Monday of each month from February through September. The workshops will be held at the Butler Heritage Foundation Auditorium in Hartsville.

Participation is open to both members and non-members of SPC Credit Union, with class sizes limited to 20 people. There is a $25 registration fee, which will go toward supporting the SPC Cares Foundation’s Down Payment Assistance Fund.

“SPC Credit Union is thrilled to be kicking off the new year with a new program for First Time Homebuyers! This 8-month workshop is designed to equip participants with the tools and know-how needed to buy their first home! Classes will be led by experts from the local lending team at SPC Credit Union and will take place on the second Monday of every month beginning in February through September at the Butler Heritage Foundation Auditorium (1103 S. 6th St. in Hartsville). Class size is limited to 20, so early registration is encouraged! You do NOT have to be an SPC Member to participate. There is a $25 registration fee that participants are required to pay. This fee supports the SPC Cares Foundation’s Down Payment Assistance Fund.”
