On October 22, the South Carolina Highway Patrol hosted its 31st Annual Troop Five Charity Golf Tournament at the Country Club of South Carolina. The event was presented by Temple & Hogsette Law Group and included participation from law enforcement partners and community supporters.

The tournament began over thirty years ago as a friendly gathering among troopers from all eight counties in Troop Five. It has since developed into an annual tradition that brings together troopers and community members for fellowship, remembrance, and charitable giving.

According to organizers, the tournament has raised thousands of dollars throughout its history to support local charities and families in the Pee Dee region.

“Presented by the Temple & Hogsette Law Group and supported by a generous network of sponsors and volunteers, this long-standing tradition continues to unite troopers and community members for a day of fellowship, remembrance, and giving back,” event representatives stated.

No additional details about this year’s fundraising totals or specific beneficiary organizations were provided in the release.
