The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with local chambers, is collaborating with Grant Thornton Advisors to create “Blueprint 2035 – A Roadmap for South Carolina’s Economic Future.” This initiative aims to establish a detailed plan for economic growth that will strengthen the state’s business environment and workforce.

As part of the planning process, the organizations have launched a survey targeted at C-suite executives. The goal is to gather insights from leaders who have direct experience with company operations, economic development incentives, and strategies for business growth within South Carolina. Responses will help ensure the final Blueprint addresses the diverse needs of businesses across the state.

According to the organizers, “The SC Chamber along with your local Chamber are committed to driving the state’s economic success by championing policies that support business growth, innovation, and a strong and resilient workforce. To that end we are working with Grant Thornton Advisors to develop Blueprint 2035 – A Roadmap for South Carolina’s Economic Future, a comprehensive and actionable economic growth plan designed to secure South Carolina’s position as a leading economic force in the United States.”

They added: “To ensure that the Blueprint reflects all voices and needs of the state’s business community and secures economic success for all South Carolinians for generations to come, we have launched a survey to be answered by C-suite executives that have intimate knowledge about company operations, economic development incentives and other state resources, growth strategies and opportunities, and a general understanding of issues affecting their ability to do business in the state.”

Survey responses will be used directly in developing Blueprint 2035. The survey is expected to take up to 20 minutes to complete.

“The valuable data collected from this survey will be used in the development of the Blueprint and may take up to 20 minutes to complete. Take the survey today!” organizers said.
