Last week, Smiling Scoops was recognized as the Business of the Quarter by the Florence Chamber of Commerce and the City of Florence. The recognition was formalized with Resolution No. 2026-01 during a regular City Council meeting.

Smiling Scoops, located in Downtown Florence, offers a variety of ice cream flavors, milkshakes, sundaes, and other treats. The business is owned by Stoney and Whitney Dupree.
