Small business certification workshop to offer guidance on state contracting

A workshop focusing on the Small & Minority Business Contracting Certification (SMBCC) program will be held, led by the South Carolina Commission for Community Advancement and Engagement. The event is free to attend and aims to inform participants about the SMBCC program, including eligibility requirements and the application process.

Organizers state that certification through this program can help businesses better position themselves for state contracting and procurement opportunities. The session will also highlight resources available to small and minority-owned businesses. Time will be set aside for questions, answers, and networking among attendees.
