The Small Business Administration and the Florence Small Business Development Center announced on Apr. 6 that they will host a Lender Matchmaker Event for the Pee Dee Area. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Drs Bruce & Lee Foundation Library at 509 S Dargan St.
The event aims to help small business owners connect directly with banking lenders to discuss their capital financial needs. Organizers said last year’s matchmaker led several businesses to secure financing through these introductions.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts in the region to support local businesses and promote economic growth. The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce contributes to community engagement by promoting local tourism and supporting businesses in the Florence area, according to the official website.
The chamber also works toward advancing economic growth and prosperity through education, advocacy, and community collaboration for both businesses and residents, as reported by its official website. Paul Felker held the position of executive director for the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, according to information provided by its official website.
Serving the Florence area in Arizona, the chamber offers resources such as a member directory and networking events designed to support local businesses according to its official website. It operates as a community business organization according to its official website.
Looking ahead, organizers hope this year’s lender matchmaker will continue helping small business owners access financial resources needed for growth.
