Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared several posts on his social media account commenting on federal healthcare policy and political differences regarding pandemic responses.

On September 22, 2025, Crane expressed support for a new healthcare initiative, stating, “I applaud this announcement by @SecKennedy and @HHSGov, which will strengthen healthcare for tribal citizens. We are grateful for this decision to invest in rural communities that are all too often overlooked. #AZ02”.

Later the same day, he responded briefly to another development with a one-word post: “Good.” (September 23, 2025).

The following morning, Crane drew distinctions between political parties’ approaches to pandemic policies. He wrote on September 23, “Democrats backed lockdowns, mandates, and medical tyranny. The Trump administration puts parents first and defends individual liberty. We are not the same.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in Congress in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has made issues of healthcare access and individual liberty central themes of his public statements.
