Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently used his social media account to comment on Pete Hegseth’s performance and share other posts.

On January 4, 2026, Rep. Crane wrote: “I think it’s safe to say that radical democrats and the legacy media were WRONG about Pete Hegseth. One year in, and it’s pretty clear that he’s really good at his job.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd congressional district since defeating Tom O’Halleran in the 2022 election cycle and taking office in early 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
