Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on September 10, 2025, expressing concerns over scientific experimentation and criminal justice policies.

In one post from September 10, Crane wrote: “We can’t allow degenerate mad scientists to engage in this immoral behavior. Thank you to @WhiteCoatWaste for exposing these horrific experiments.”

Later that day, he commented on public safety and law enforcement issues: “Democrats’ catch-and-release policies allow repeat violent criminals to walk free and terrorize our communities. When Good Samaritans like Daniel Penny defend their neighbors, Democrats try to imprison them. Appreciate @JoeTalkShow for exposing their betrayal of Americans.” This tweet referenced the actions of Daniel Penny and criticized Democratic policies regarding criminal justice.

Crane also acknowledged the Trump administration’s efforts regarding ethical considerations in science: “Great work by @WhiteCoatWaste for bringing attention to this issue. Thank you to the Trump administration for prioritizing the sanctity of human life.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since succeeding Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, he currently resides in Oro Valley.
