Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, posted a series of statements on October 21, 2025, addressing topics ranging from election integrity to healthcare policy.
In a tweet posted at 18:03 UTC, Crane stated, “It should not be controversial to require proof of citizenship when registering to vote. An honor system isn’t good enough when working to ensure election integrity. Proud to support this petition led by @America1stLegal.”
Later the same day, at 19:21 UTC, Crane commented on healthcare policy and the Affordable Care Act, writing, “So the affordable care act (obamacare) didn’t make healthcare more affordable? And democrats are trying to lie about it? Shocker.”
In a third tweet at 20:06 UTC, Crane shared a brief message: “Check it out: https://t.co/NO1TUkKxyw”
Crane, who began serving in Congress in 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran, is known for his positions on issues such as election security and healthcare policy. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
