Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently shared several statements on social media expressing concern about the state of politics and taxpayer awareness.

On February 1, 2026, Crane posted, “It’s called the swamp for a reason. Those of us pushing for change are greatly outnumbered.” The following day, on February 2, he published another post containing only an emoji and a link: “”. Later that same day, Crane commented on taxpayer expectations with the statement: “Taxpayers are generally shocked to find out this sort of thing wasn’t already happening.”

Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
