Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, announced on January 14, 2026, his intention to vote “yes” on an unspecified measure coming before the House floor that day.

In a post at 13:47 UTC, Crane stated, “I’ll be voting YES.” Shortly after, at 14:24 UTC, he encouraged constituents to contact their representatives regarding the upcoming vote: “There will be a vote on the House floor TODAY to do just that. Urge your representative to vote YES.” In another message posted at 14:38 UTC, Crane added, “Crazy idea: let’s do what we promised.”

Crane succeeded Tom O’Halleran in Congress and has been serving since 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
