Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently shared updates on key legislative and disaster response efforts through a series of social media posts.

On January 25, Crane wrote about his involvement in the ongoing appeal for a major disaster declaration in Gila County: “On Friday, I joined @zachprelutsky of @azfamily to provide an update on Arizona’s major disaster declaration appeal in Gila County. With the new assessment, FEMA will have a better understanding of the damage and the need for federal assistance.” The statement follows recent assessments intended to inform federal agencies like FEMA about local needs after natural disasters.

The following day, January 26, Crane addressed broader national issues during an appearance with Benny Johnson. He stated: “This morning, I joined @bennyjohnson to discuss the Marxist insurrection in Minnesota, Democrat opposition to DHS funding, and the importance of the SAVE Act. If we back down from removing criminal aliens and restoring law and order, we will set a dangerous precedent.”

Later that same day, Crane posted a brief message: “” on his social media account.

Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district starting in 2023.
