Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform on December 9, 2025, to share updates on disaster relief for small businesses, a tour of state law enforcement facilities, and legislative progress impacting rural communities.

In a post from December 9, Crane addressed local business owners affected by recent flooding: “Important reminder for #AZ02 small businesses impacted by the devastating flooding in Gila County. There is still time to return applications to @SBAgov for disaster relief loans. See info below: https://t.co/QdAv7MXnBi”.

Later that day, he highlighted collaboration with fellow lawmakers and law enforcement officials: “On Friday, I joined @RepAndyBiggsAZ and Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen for a tour of @Arizona_DPS facilities across our state. Thank you to Jeff Hawkins, President of @AZTroopers, for hosting us and sharing an update on their operations.”

In an evening update posted at 23:56 UTC, Crane announced legislative news concerning rural support programs: “Tonight, the House passed a three-year extension of the Secure Rural Schools program, which now heads to President Trump’s desk for his signature. This is a huge win for every county in #AZ02, and I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to getting this across the finish line.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane continues to use his congressional platform to address both immediate community needs and broader legislative efforts.
