Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on his recent visits to local organizations and commented on urban governance in a series of posts dated August 27, 2025.
On August 27, Crane wrote about his visit to Payson Christian Clinic: “Had a chance to visit and learn more about the good work of the Payson Christian Clinic yesterday. They were founded in 2007 and operate by having licensed physicians, physician residents, and medical students donate their time to take care of patients.”
Later that day, he commented on city governance with the post: “And big cities are all governed by…democrats. Maybe their policies just don’t work?” This statement reflects ongoing national debates regarding political party leadership in major urban areas.
Crane also highlighted another community organization during his visit to Yavapai County: “Yesterday, I had an opportunity to visit the team at Prescott Meals on Wheels to learn more about their work in Yavapai County.”
Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since succeeding Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
