Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of critical tweets on December 4, 2025, addressing concerns over government spending, impeachment proceedings, and public accountability.

In his first post at 13:01 UTC, Crane questioned the status of federal funds by asking, “Where did all the money go?”

Later that morning at 13:40 UTC, he called for action regarding impeachment efforts with the statement: “How many reasons do we need to impeach this guy before the swamp will grow a spine and do the right thing?”

In a subsequent tweet at 15:34 UTC, Crane referenced Secretary Hegseth and addressed accusations against him: “It appears as though a whole bunch of partisan hacks owe Secretary Hegseth a public apology.”

Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. As an elected official from Arizona’s 2nd District, his statements often address national political issues and call for increased accountability within federal institutions.
