In the evening, Crane addressed ongoing recovery efforts in his district following severe flooding events. He stated: “I’m grateful to work with my colleagues to expand rural healthcare access and support recovery efforts following the tragic flooding in Gila and Mohave counties. Crane’s comments come as Gila and Mohave counties recover from recent flooding that has affected local infrastructure and public health resources.
Eli Crane succeeded Tom O’Halleran in Congress after the 2022 election cycle. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
