Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on February 19 and 20, 2026, addressing issues related to redistricting, border policy, and political engagement.

On February 19, Crane wrote: “I need more people in my district just for redistricting purposes.” This is the reason for the border invasion in a nutshell. Democrats didn’t even hide it. They want to inflate their numbers ahead of the census because it’s all about POWER. He suggested that Democratic efforts regarding immigration are motivated by a desire to increase population counts before the census for political advantage.

Later that evening on February 20, Crane posted a brief message featuring an American flag emoji:

In another tweet from February 20, he expressed support for media personality Dan Bongino: Appreciate everything you do, @dbongino. We may be outnumbered, but this country’s worth fighting for.

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane has focused his congressional messaging on issues related to border security and national identity.
