Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account regarding legislative developments and border security issues.

On September 3, 2025, Crane announced the passage of tax legislation by the House, stating: “Recently, the House passed historic tax cuts for working families that deliver significant victories for #AZ02. This bill provides lasting savings, strengthens border security, and prioritizes the interests of Arizonans. See below for some of the key wins: https://t.co/bODAlAkTRI”.

Later that day, he commented on an unspecified issue with a brief remark: “Embarrassing indeed. https://t.co/YnJKLJUoRy” (September 3, 2025).

In another post from September 3, 2025, Crane criticized Democratic lawmakers’ actions related to Medicaid and border policy: “The American people deserve to know what radical democrats did to weaken Medicaid on behalf of their premeditated border crisis. https://t.co/yFqQxiubOD”.

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
