Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on recent meetings and legislative developments in a series of posts on February 25, 2026.
In his first post of the day, Crane wrote: “Had a very informative meeting with the United Aerial Firefighters Association today. We focused on improving policies that make their jobs easier, particularly when fighting fires within the jurisdiction of the U.S. National Park Service.” (February 25, 2026).
Later, he reported on staff-level discussions with local officials: “Today, my staff met with Yavapai County Supervisor Nikki Check to discuss important issues in the Verde Valley. We’ve had a chance to meet with dozens of county officials from across the district over the past week. It’s great to be working together on so many issues in #AZ02.” (February 25, 2026).
In a third post from the same day, Crane commented on new legislation affecting families in his district: “These new policies passed as part of the working families tax plan are going to be huge for families across rural Arizona. #AZ02” (February 25, 2026).
Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd congressional district beginning in January 2023.
