Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared a series of posts on social media regarding border security legislation and state policy trends.
On February 9, 2026, Crane wrote: “As Arizona’s only member of @HomelandGOP, I’m proud to have helped draft and pass the strongest border security investment in U.S. history.
This legislation stops criminal entries, blocks dangerous narcotics, and restores law and order.
Honored to fight for #AZ02.”
The following day, on February 10, 2026, he posted a brief message accompanied by an emoji: “”.
Later that same day, Crane commented on state policies by stating: “Sadly, many in Arizona have been pushing the same foolish policies that led to this in California.”
Crane’s recent remarks come as he continues his tenure representing Arizona’s 2nd district in Congress. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran in this role beginning in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has positioned himself as an advocate for stricter border measures during his time in office.
