Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on November 18, 2025, addressing issues related to border security and legislative transparency.
In a tweet from that day, Crane wrote: “During the premeditated border invasion, 450,000+ UACs were placed with unvetted sponsors. Only one staffer monitored distress calls, with 65,000 going unanswered. Thankfully, the Trump administration is committed to protecting these children from further exploitation.” (November 18, 2025)
Later that same day, Crane expressed his support for an unspecified legislative initiative by stating: “Proud to be a cosponsor.” (November 18, 2025)
He also commented on congressional action regarding records tied to Jeffrey Epstein. In another post he stated: “Today, I voted in favor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This bill ensures public access to DOJ records on Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal network.” (November 18, 2025)
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in Congress in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has served as a Republican lawmaker focused on national security and government accountability.
