Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted several updates on his official X account on October 3, 2025, covering both local events and congressional policy positions.

In a post from earlier that day, Crane highlighted his staff’s participation in a veterans’ event: “My staff is in Flagstaff today for the Veteran Stand Down at Twin Arrows Resort & Casino. These events are a great way for veterans to connect and learn more about critical resources. Feel free to stop by and meet with my Director of Military and Veteran Services. “ (October 3, 2025).

Later, Crane addressed compensation for lawmakers during government shutdowns: “Members of Congress shouldn’t receive a salary during a government shutdown, nor should we get back pay. Thank you to @RepRalphNorman for your leadership.” (October 3, 2025).

He also responded affirmatively to another post that day with a brief message: “Yup” (October 3, 2025).

Crane has served as the U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
