U.S. Representative Eli Crane, who serves Arizona’s 2nd district, recently shared updates on his official X account regarding local engagement and national security discussions.

On September 5, 2025, Crane posted about his staff’s participation in a roundtable hosted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development at Northland Pioneer College in Winslow. He wrote: “Recently, my staff had the opportunity to join a @usdaRD roundtable at @NPCedu in Winslow.

Special thanks to State Director Lori Urban and her team for updating us on their programs and holding an informative Q&A with agency and city leaders.”

Later that day, Crane addressed efforts to counter drone threats following a meeting with Seb Gorka. In his post, he stated: “Grateful to @SebGorka for meeting with me to discuss strategies for mitigating drone attacks.

As this technology becomes more prevalent and advanced, we must stay ahead of our adversaries.

Fortunately, this administration understands the dangers of this emerging threat.” The congressman emphasized the importance of proactive measures as drone technologies evolve.

In another message from September 5, Crane criticized Democratic lawmakers’ approach to crime in Washington D.C., writing: “Radical democrats are fighting tooth and nail to bring crime BACK to DC.

They resent the fact that President Trump cleaned it all up in record time.

They are exposed.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, he is one of several recent additions to Arizona’s congressional delegation.
