Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of updates on September 16, 2025, addressing rural healthcare investments, recent tragedies affecting local communities, and criticism of federal environmental funding.

In a post published at 17:05 UTC, Crane stated: “This morning, I joined a conversation with @DrOzCMS, where he previewed the implementation of the recently passed $50 billion investment to strengthen rural healthcare as part of the Working Families Tax Plan. See below for more information: https://t.co/yP2ofhKKu9”.

Later that day at 18:03 UTC, Crane addressed ongoing hardships and expressed support for affected individuals and organizations: “Although this past week has been tragic on numerous fronts, God has a plan and darkness will not overcome light. In the meantime, please continue to pray for the Kirks, Turning Point, and the families of our courageous firefighters. Thank you for having me on @jineane_ford. https://t.co/kwK1fcezHg”.

At 19:21 UTC on September 16th, Crane criticized President Joe Biden’s approach to environmental justice funding: “Joe Biden’s idea of “environmental justice” was funneling billions of taxpayer dollars to his favorite nonprofits, as well as people like Stacey Abrams who know nothing about the environment. Crane’s comments come in the context of his ongoing tenure in Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd District after replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has been active in discussions concerning both state and national policy issues.
