Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared updates and commentary on his official Twitter account regarding meetings with law enforcement leaders and his views on national political issues.
On February 3, 2026, Crane posted about a meeting with local law enforcement officials, stating: “Had a great meeting with key Arizona members of the @NationalSheriff. Appreciate Sheriff David Rhodes of Yavapai County, as well as @SheriffClouse and Chief Deputy Bruce Tucker of Navajo County, for stopping by. #AZ02 is blessed to have these strong leaders.”
The following day, February 4, he made a brief post emphasizing the significance of an unspecified event or development: “This is a big deal.”
Later that same day, Crane commented on national politics and party dynamics in another tweet: “Radical democrats caused a crisis in America by streamlining an invasion & empowering a mind blowing amount of fraud. All at your expense. Too many weak republicans sat back & let it happen. Now they have the audacity to try & block us from minimizing the damage they caused.”
Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd congressional district beginning in 2023.
