Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on September 17, 2025, addressing issues ranging from forest management and energy policy to the impact of artificial intelligence and political discourse.
In his first post of the afternoon, Crane wrote about his engagement with a local business group: “This afternoon, I had a chance to address the @AZChamber. My remarks focused on the importance of the Fix Our Forests Act, efforts to expedite the rebuild of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and support for reliable and affordable energy.” (September 17, 2025)
Later that day, Crane commented on technological change and workforce trends: “Given its rapid advancement, AI is on track to reshape much of what we do. With automation threatening entire industries, the trades remain a reliable field for many young Americans.” (September 17, 2025)
Addressing political tensions in another post that evening, Crane questioned public rhetoric in response to recent election results: “How exactly does he think this kind of ridiculous rhetoric will help lower the temperature with left-wing activists? President Trump just won the popular vote.” (September 17, 2025)
Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district following the 2022 elections.
