Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on social media on February 10, 2026, regarding local educational initiatives and his stance on border security policies.

In a post published at 21:45 UTC, Crane described a meeting with representatives from Coconino Community College to discuss the institution’s future growth and funding opportunities. He wrote, “Had a chance to sit down with the team from Coconino Community College this afternoon to talk about their expansion plans. We also discussed their application for rural health care funding made available through the Working Families Tax Cuts. #AZ02” (February 10, 2026).

Later that evening at 22:29 UTC, Crane addressed public safety concerns related to immigration policy by stating, “Sanctuary policies make things more dangerous for everyone.” (February 10, 2026).

In a subsequent message posted at 23:38 UTC, he criticized Democratic Party strategies regarding immigration and public demonstrations. Crane stated, “Democrats unleashed a border crisis, deployed sanctuary city policies, and promoted dehumanizing rhetoric that led to violent protests. All for one reason. They are obsessed with power. That’s why they oppose the SAVE America Act, despite overwhelming public support. WATCH:” (February 10, 2026).

Crane began serving in Congress after replacing Tom O’Halleran in January 2023 as representative of Arizona’s second district.[1](#) Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley,[2](#) Crane has consistently voiced positions on border policy and community development during his tenure.[3](#)
