Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared updates on congressional activities and local issues through a series of posts on his social media account.
On August 20, 2025, Crane wrote, “Yesterday, I joined The Jeff Oravits Show to share updates on Congress and #AZ02. We covered the Russia-Ukraine negotiations, the Big Beautiful Bill, the latest on the Dragon Bravo Fire, and my proposal to defund @NEDemocracy. Appreciate the invite, @JeffOravits.”
Later that same day, he posted another message stating, “The swamp is being drained.” on August 20.
On August 21, Crane commented on developments in rural Arizona with the post: “This is great news for rural Arizona. #AZ02”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane continues to focus his legislative efforts on both national issues and matters affecting his constituents in rural Arizona.
